Hi everyone my fist post and im quite new to revit. One plan is sued as my working plan its got notes on etc and is medium detail. When making a section through the building the roof is gone in some sections. If i rotate the section the roof is shown.
Sections not showing on roof plan really finally a fourth possibility. Hi i have a problem with a roof created from a mass element roof by face. Weird problem i m not sure how to explain it. The problem could be the geometry of the roof.
I m working on a church we have about 4 floor levels the entrance is at 0 elevation then the main area slopes about down to the lowest level at 30 elevation which is the sanctuary. I have a plan of a floor and from that plan i duplicated it. I can see the side walls and the walls that define the dormer but not the roof that should sit on the same view wither joining the walls or at the front south of the building. Though from long autocad background i m creating a basic dormer with in a roof but the but the roof does not appear in the level.
See about section tag visibility. There can be many reasons that an element is not displayed within a revit view. The element s family geometry is set to not be visible in the view or is being controlled with a visibility parameter. The other is the construction plan i place on the sheet and is of course detail.
